So I'm actually not traveling till next year but I'm playing around with details and pricing. If we travel end of May/beginning of June, when is the best time to book plane tickets? Is there a magic day of the week/time of day? Thanks!

I'll tell you EXACTLY when to book for the lowest rate if you'll tell me what Wednesday's winning powerball numbers will be.

The latest article is saying "54 days from departure". I don't believe it. I've always gotten airfare ~320 days out. This is a legacy airline, and I keep watching and the price NEVER got as low as it was when I booked.

The REAL answer is to book when your comfortable with what you'll pay. If you are on an airline other than Southwest or Jet Blue (and I think Alaska), don't look at prices again. If you don't know prices dropped, you can't get upset, right? :rotfl:
