when to book

we are planning a trip for second week of dec. should we book now or wait till the discounts come out? I know is a long ways out but we are a family of 5 so rooms are limited. if we book now should I do room only then add a package later or everything now?

Go ahead and book the room you need. If you prefer a package book it that way.

Try what I did.

I was looking to book in late August but there were no discounts yet. I looged into my Disney.com account, put a trip in my cart, and left without booking it. The trip sat in my cart. Then a few days later I received a discount PIN via email.

Sometimes it works, somtimes not.

I'm booking my trip but not including the dining plan as I'm hoping to do FD. If it doesn't come out this fall, I can always add it later.
