When To Book For Feb 2008?

We want to stay at either HRH or PBH in Feb 2008. When do you recommend booking for this? Also what generates the best rates? I have AAA, am willing to buy an AP if it will give good enough discounts.

Also, we stayed at PBH a couple years ago and booked through hotel kingdom, but now I don't see any universal hotels listed on there. Anyone have any info?

usually about 10 months in advance....AAA rates are usually the first out

I would definitely do it as soon as you can. February is a very busy month so the good rooms will go quickly. We haven't really even committed to where we are going next February but I have our top choice reserved and was glad I did because I got the last of the room type I wanted.

You are already booked for next feb? What kind of rate, any discounts? We will be going the first week in feb, I don't think it is usually busy then. Doesn't it pick up around president's week?

I tried looking at rates for Feb. and March, and Universal said they are not taking reservations out that far?????

another poster on another thread mentioned you may have to call the hotel and book rack rate and then when AAA rates are available, switch your res to AAA rate

This what I just did. Garden view room at HRH $309 plus tax.

Any ideas what I can expect to actualy pay? Please tell me AAA discount is decent!
