If and when they may ever offer it again, I'd always expect it available with the deluxe resorts. Of course, it depends on availability. If the GF is sold out with a conference, then you won't be able to get any sort of room (discounted or otherwise).

We had free dining in 2005 and we were concierge at the CR.

Just be prepared to figure out if it is actually less $$$ to go that way when you're looking at a deluxe with free dining- last year I remember a lot of posters found that paying rack rate at a deluxe (in order to get the free dining) was actually more money than using one of the other discounts that came out at the same time (room only codes, etc that came out at the same time, for the same dates). It seemed like the really great deals were when you stayed value/mods. It all depended on how many in your party, if you were AP holders, etc.

Some deluxe resort people used one of the other room only codes that came out for their rooms and then purchased the DDE card for dining discounts instead... but again, everyone's situation is different and will have to be figured out to see which way to go to save the maximum $$$$!

I stayed last year at the GF on the free dining plan. We actually changed our resort a few times (went from CS to AKL to the Poly, to the GF) before deciding on it, so there was availability for awhile after it was offered. But there was a BIG conference getting there about the same time we did, and they said it was sold out when we checked in.
