Do you pack a corksrew in your luggage? Is this allowed? What about glasses?

Your stateroom host can provide glasses.....

You can certainly pack a corkscrew in your checked luggage, not your carryon. Your stateroom host can also get you a corkscrew but it is a very small, manual one.

The TSA allows corkscrews on aircraft, both in checked luggage and in carry-ons. (There are some things, such as knives, that are only allowed in checked luggage, not in carry-on. On an aircraft, you don't have access to your checked luggage.)

DCL allows corkscrews on the ship, both in checked luggage and in carry-ons.
(On DCL, the restrictions are the same for checked luggage and for carry-ons because you have equal access to both on the ship.)

Thank you Horace.....that was not the case last time we flew with one!!!

Actually, that's a good point, mmouse37. Even though the TSA offically allows corkscrews, a TSA agent at your airport can use his or her discretion to prevent you from bring a corkscrew in your carry-on. Since you don't need it on the plane, you're better off having it in your checked luggage.

Then, when boarding the ship, it really doesn't matter whether the corkscrew is in checked luggage and in a carry-on.
