If you book it through member services, it's 25% off, if available. It is treated as a points stay as far as benefits and housekeeping. DVC Resorts only.

Lots of discounts, but not for DVC members. DVC members only get discounts on DVC resorts when the room is available for non-points stays through MS. They are not always available, especially at times when MS thinks the villa could be rented easily for points.
