When should we start looking for a flight?

We are going spring break 2008 (4/18/08). However, most schools around here have that week off as well AND our high school band is marching at WDW that week. The last time they were there practically everyone in town went to see them and it was impossible to get a flight. We ended up flying to Tampa. Right now airfares Newark to Orlando are running around $300 round trip . Any ideas when we should book?

I'm in the same boat. The cheapest I can find from my home airport is $368pp/RT.
