when should we go!

we are trying to plan our trip.... here are our details
*we want to go during either a value or reg season, but not when it is super hot (we have a 2 year old)
*We are driving from Massachusetts with a fifth wheel and hubby doesnt want to drive if there is snow.
*The sooner the better for me!!

When would you suggest we go? I said this nov but i cannot find any opennings..........................help

The IDEAL time for us this year would be around December 9-16. Everyone will begin to arrive on Dec 16 for the holidays, but you should just about have the parks to yourselves up until then. I wish we were going!

Well if you can wait a while, I like going in Mid-May. OR, if you can wait even longer, October is great!
But, keep checking, you may get lucky and get a November ressie.

My favorite time for weather has been October - but early May is great too - but pretty hot if you aren't from the south it would be VERY hot. Went Thanksgivng a few years ago & loved it then too 'cause everything is decorated already for Christmas. BUT you siad you're coming from up north so there's chances of snow everyday by now isn't there? So that would rule out planning for you from Oct-Feb('cause of the snow driving) I'd think - so my vote for you would be late April (unless that's Easter this year) to early May...or next fall...or quick leave tomorrow & stay in a KOA capmground near the property -if you don't want to wait any longer !

I vote for early May! That's when we are going. We will be driving from Wisconsin, so I understand your concern about the snow. We will be arriving at FW on May 8th and will be there for 8 days, then 3 days in Key West. This is regular season and I have been told that both the weather and crowds will be perfect, and we won't have to worry about hurricanes (we were originally going to go this month, but glad we decided to wait).

Another vote for October -- specifically mid-October. Not very crowded, MNSSHP, and the weather is still mild. We've been the last couple of years and have now adopted it as one of our family traditions. If we stick with it our now 2.5 year old will have been to Disney World and the Fort 18 times when he's 18 years old.
