When should ME tags come?

Hi all, just wondering when our ME materials should come. Our last trip to wdw was in 2009 and our ME tags arrived 40 days out. I'm just wondering if there's a new schedule of when these things are mailed?

lol how funny! Maybe we'll actually run into each other while on our trips!

I think if the ME tags do not come tomorrow...I'm calling them to make sure they still know we're comin!

I changed resorts today so I also talked to the ME folks who said mine were in process and they'd send me out new ones since I'm switching resorts. (I'm running screaming from the cheerleaders who will be at the All Stars the week I was scheduled to be there.)

I'm at the 35 day mark today.

ok we couldn't wait, can you tell we're excited? DH called and I'm glad he did because they had he and I in the system but not the kids! So they're mailing out a new set of tags for the kids. eek!

We are at the 35 day mark too! I changed from POP to POFQ today. Agent told me to cross out "POP" on tags and write "POFQ" on it since it's the barcode that has our reservation info.

Maybe they are trying to telling you take a trip without the kids.

i'm back

I was looking at the ME tags and the booklet with info and noticed 2 long numbers listed on the tags. The bottom number is definitely our disney reservation number that matches our reservation confirmation, the other is not a number I've seen before but the first 5 digits are the same as our disney reservation number. Just wondering what the other number is, just our ME reservation number? I'm being a little paranoid because everytime we call disney res. or ME they seem to not be able to locate our reservation at first.

Hey lady!

I think you are correct. The top number seems to be the ME number as it coincides with the number in the booklet information. The bottom number is room/pkg reservation.

I pulled out my tags and checked it against my email confirmation and ME booklet cause I got nervous for a second myself. I guess it wouldn't hurt to call them just to make sure.

I'm leaving May 5th and got mine yesterday (3/29/12), so about 36 days out. However, they didn't have my flight information. I know I called and gave it to them several months ago. When I called yesterday, they said it wasn't in the system.

I called several months ago and gave them the flight info for both my May and Sept trips on the same day. For some reason the CM back then entered the flight info for the Sept trip, but not the May trip. Glad I called again!

mom2clr: thanks for checking your tags and letting me know yours looks like mine. It was just weird to have the first 5 digits be matching, I thought they'd be 2 totally separate numbers.


I'm glad I'm not the only one who called just to be safe. I'm still confused as to why they had all 4 of us listed on our reservation but only sent tags for DH and I. My mother is also traveling with us and she has not received any ME tags yet, we're at 30 days today. Hopefully her booklet will come today so I won't have to call for her. She received mail from Disney Destinations yesterday with a photopass card in it We didn't get one. lol I don't know what's going on!

I got mine at the 25 day mark and they came in the same mailing as my package document (resort voucher, coupons, etc.). This was the first time I have gotten everything together - in the past it was two seperate mailings. I'm currently waiting for new tags because we changed resorts. DME told me those would take 7-10 days to arrive.

Just in case you don't receive your tags before you leave, you can cross out the resort name on the current tags. Just make sure you don't touch the barcode as that's what has your reservation info. I was told to do this earlier in the week when we also changed resorts and I did it back in Jan '10 when I changed resorts then and had no issues.
