When should I expect to see a offer?

We are looking at going to Disney April of next year so I was wondering if they usually have any discounts around that time? We are looking at the 1st of April or even the end of March we want to bypass spring break as much as possible so we are a little flexible. But when historically do offers come out if any at all? We love the free dining but will take anything I just want to be prepared as to when to start looking. thanks so much for your help!!

You may not see an offer. Discounts are few and far between this year.

Last year I booked a May trip at the beginning of Jan. with a great discount. This year, nothing, and no mention of anything coming.

There is a room only offer on the Disney website, but that's it.

Easter is March 31st in 2013 and Disney usually imposes black out dates on their promos for the two weeks surrounding Easter - I wouldn't expect any discounts from 3/24/13 through 4/6/13.

Of course, there have been exceptions ... but they are not the norm.

Next year that is Easter Week, which is one of the most expensive and busiest weeks of the entire year at WDW. You aren't going to see discounts during that week. Disney puts out discounts to fill resorts and they don't need to fill resorts during a busy holiday week.

As others have said, if you can bypass Easter weeks, you will have a better chance of getting a deal. This year, so far, Easter weeks are blacked out from deals (except we got a decent AAA deal) but room availability is VERY high at my resorts of choice, so I'm keeping an eye out for some last minute deals. Even room types that are rarely available are showing up as available during Easter this year.

If you're talking 2013.. you wont' see anything until the 2013 resort rates are set in August of 2012.

Then.. you likely won't see an offer for the months of March or April 2013 .. until Oct / Nov 2012 at the SOONEST I would guess.. it may well be December.
