When should I ask for a crib?

Hello!

I've already completed online check-in for our POR stay starting 9 November. When doing so, there was a "requests" section which seemed to imply it was a place to request a specific room/building. I don't care which room they give us, but I will need to request a crib for my infant son. I know I can modify my check-in- should I use that section to ask for the crib? Would it be better to wait and ask the front desk when we arrive? If I wait- would it be likely that they'd be out of cribs or is this a scenario where guest services would bend over backwards to help? (We're checking in at what I believe is the end of Jersey Week and is sure to be rather crowded.)

Thanks in advance!

POR has Pack-n-Plays available, not cribs. Just want you to be prepared as to what exactly you would be getting. I would call the Main Reservations line and add a request for a Pack-n-Play to your reservation. This can be done any time from the day you book up until 4-5 days out. This lets them know about how many they will need for a given time frame. There is no guarantee you will get one but we have never not gotten one. It will not be in your room when you arrive. When you get to your room call housekeeping and they will bring you one.

Just to add, I've had a terrible time getting a crib on time in the past. I have added it to the reservation before hand and then reiterate it at check in and it has still taken hours to get it. It ruined my sons afternoon nap at Pop in February. Just make sure you don't need it as soon as you check in. I've never had it in the room waiting for us.

Thank you for the responses!

Yes I figured it would be a PnP and that's fine with us.

We don't necessarily need it until bedtime so it's okay if it's not in the room.

Thanks again!

I called earlier this week to request one for our daughter on our December trip. I didn't want to forget calling closer to the trip with everything else going on.
