Okay, So we bought 100pts at Animal Kingdom this summer. We knew at the time that it was not enough. But, we wanted to pay cash. So, now I will be planning an add - on. We are cruising in March:woohoo:(so excited I could pee!!!) and I have heard some good incentives are offered on board. Anybody verify this? We are also headed down to DVC on June 29th. Should we buy on DCL or would you wait and make an appt with your guide in person at the WDW resort(in July)?? I am wondering if I would get better incentives then. Which time of year March/or June is traditionally slower for DVC sales??As this may also mean better incentives. Again, I want to pay cash so this will be a small add-on. At least this time, no closing costs involved. The other thing that will be nice is we will be able to sign all papers in person. Last time I bought from Disney over the phone and the paperwork was done via mail.
Any thoughts /advice for me??
(Everybody cross your fingers for this Canuck that the dollar stays at a decent rate also. Because it always means a bit more cost on my end)

I have read that sometimes the deals on the cruises are a bit better than what is offered to others at that same time.

Since there could be a whole different set of incentives in March and June, I don't think there is one that will definitely be better than the other.

I can tell you in 2009, the incentives between April 1st and June 15th, for BLT were the best ones they had.

For a small add on, I think you are talking minimal changes as the better incentives for members seem to kick in at the 100 point level.

Good luck!
