When rooms are discounted, is it only standards?

Hi,
When a hotel has annual pass or AAA rates available, is it only on the most basic rooms, or at the same time are there higher rates (but still discounted) for more premium rooms and suites?

Thanks.

I don't know whether there's a "pat" answer to this, but I got a AAA discount on a club level room this April at the WL.

Rigth now, I have a AAA discount on a preferred room at AS Sports for August, but as soon as the discount becomes avail through Disney, I am going to try to book somewhere else. I believe there are a number of rooms in each category that are discounted, but of course they are first come first served, so you have to call early if you want something more than standard.

I've had a preffered room at ASMo with the AAA discount and I've had a water view at CSR.

It is my understanding that all room types in all properties are eligible for the AAA rate but the number of each is very limited.

The WDW website is maddening too - when they release a deal it nearly always shows the value resorts in the ad copy (and usually a certain number of days, like "Value Resort Special! Based on a 5 night stay 2 adults, 2 children only $XXX!"), but I've found that if you're interested in a deluxe be sure and go ahead and check the deluxes (even though the ad shows a value example) and they will usually show up with a deal too, all the way to club level if available.

You have to check the minimum stay requirements too - even though they use 5 (or 7) in the ad, usually a package is based on a minimum 3 day stay. Of course, a room only special is for as little as one night....;)

The only thing I have never seen a special on is the suites at any resort - including the family suites. Guess they are so popular they don't have to give any specials on those!

I currently have a AAA discount at the WL for a courtyard room. That was all that was available for my December trip and I called in February. I would have preferred the woods view (less $$$) but not available. Hopefully we will get some AP rates and I'll be able to call the first day of the rate release and get a woods view. Courtyard is nice, but not nice enough for me to pay the difference.
