When requesting a fridge for medicine at value resort (POP)...

Can we just call or do we need to fax a request?
Do we need a doctor's note?

Hi and to disABILITIES!

I would suggest calling reservations and ask them to add a note to your reservation that you need a refrigerator for temperatue sensitive medications. Ask for a new copy of the confirmation. When you get to check-in, make sure that information is on your reservation. If the refrigerator is not in your room call the Front Desk.

You do not need a doctor's note and Disney cannot legally ask for one.

Watch your bill at the end of the trip. Both times that we stayed at a value we've had to request a fridge for medication. Both times our bill has included the $10/day fee for the fridge. They removed it from the bill and creditted our card back the total amount, but we had to contact the front desk to get this corrected both times.

We atayed at POP this past April and had to have a fridge for our meds. Just call the reservations line and tell them that you need it for medication. Then when you go to check in at the desk rmind them that you had a medical request for the fridge and they will have it in your room within 30 minutes ( or at least that is the time frame they told us). They did not charge us for the fridge, but we looked over the final bill just in case.

This happened to us once at POP Century. They apologized and corrected it quickly though.
