when port orleans fq opens??

hi, we have booked to go to the p.o. riverside in dec 04, but have a question, when the renovations are finished in the french quarter will they be shutting down the riverside, or will it remain open during the renovations i realize that there are no dates available for when the f.q. reopens but just wondered about what will happen to the riverside when they do reopen it, thanks for any help susie

From my understanding, the POR will never completely close. They will renovate that resort in sections, so some buildings may be closed, but not the entire resort.
