When MS is closed ??s

If I were travelling at the last minute, would I be able to rent a room on points over the weekend @ the resort desk when MS is closed? This would be for a DVC property- not using the Disney Collection. If I called the resort desk on the weekend would they be able to tell me if there was availability?

Yes, I've heard of people calling day of or day before and getting a reservation directly from the resort. (Not this weekend, though.)

Twice we decided to extend our stay through Saturday night rather than check out on Friday. Last time we did this was the weekend after Member Homecoming. We decided Friday night to see if we could stay the next night. Obviously on Friday night Member Services was not open. We had no problem staying another night. Teh front desk at OKW was very accomodating both times.

As Pam said I wouldn't try it over the next several days. I wil lsay Member Services wasquite helpful to our Miami friends yesterday. The friends decided to leave home & head north. They were able to get a reservaton for last night.
