This is the question posed to me this morning from my 5 year old son. I said "Honey, he's a cartoon not a real animal. People draw him." Then he followed that up with his second question, "Did he come out of Minnie's tummy?"

Funny, but still an interesting question. Did Disney ever show Mickey's parents in any of his cartoons/drawings?

AFAIK, Mickey's never had 'parents' (well other than Walt, of course). And you never see his the mother of his two nephews Mortie and Freddie, either.

Come to think of it, where is Dumbella, Donald's sister and mother of Huey, Dewey and Louie?
