I was wondering if we are to ever make a reservation with an AP rate can my dad still make the reservation and etc, even though the AP would be in my name since I am the only person in my family who has one?

As I understand, the name on the reservation must be the person who has the AP. Why not have your dad make the reservation in your name? I make all the reservations for my family.

Well can my dad still make the reservation in my name but still use his credit card and etc? Also someone I know told me it does not matter at check-in and etc who has the AP, just as long as you have proof of the AP.

The only rule is the AP holder must be an adult. (18 or over)

CR Resort Fan 4 Life, sorry to hack the thread, just a question. If I were to book a room with an AP discount, and there was an adult 18 or older in the room, but the AP holder was 15, is that possible? Otherwise, I wouldn't know how to book my room because it will be my mother, myself, DD14, DD15 and DD15's friend. I am looking at either AKL or a Moderate, so these rooms don't accomodate more than 4 people.

Don't worry about hijacking the thread because I got the answer I was looking for, so good luck with your question.

As long as the AP was adult priced, it will apply for the discount. Disney just doesn't want people using a child's priced AP to get the discount.

Thank you. That definately eases my concerns about booking. Now I just have to wait for the rates to come out.
