Why does it seem when one bad thing happens, a ton more follow?? On Monday I went upstairs to check on the twins, and someone had vomited in the bathroom sink. Disgusting--it turns out it was my DD7 who had not vomited in the sink, but in her bed, but cleaned it up--by putting it into the sink!! Well, she did not tell anyone she had been sick, and went to school that morning. Yes, I am a card carrying member of the bad moms club. Well, today I went upstairs again to check on the twins. They had gotten into the school supplies I had bought for DD7 and Ds5 for next year (they have been under DD7's bed for 8 months). They drew all over her room with markers, drew on the carpet with markers, drew on her sheets with markers and poures glue all over everything in her room. I mumbled to myself for the next 2 minutes, "this can't be really happening..." DS5 brought up the magic eraser and clorox wipes for me. Two minutes later, DS5 starts throwing up!!
Jump ahead one hour, the carpet is as clean as I can get it, the walls are washed, DS5 is sleeping, the twins are are in bed, and the baby is sleeping. It is quiet.
I know God's only gives us as much as we can handle, but I really think my cup is way overfull!!!

Just wait till they are teenagers you will pray for majic markers on the walls and carpet.
Seriously though enjoy your quiet time and recoup sorry you are having such a bad day
. I was thinking after the age of 4, the mess stage would start to slow up--until I no longer needed to be cleanning up for them....
