I'm not disputing the fact that something like bronchitis (sp?) can cause pneumonia. I just don't understand how rain factors into it. Rain doesn't carry the bacteria that causes viruses like that. At least not that I'm aware of.
DB is actually very excited about the rain! He *hates* lines and knows they'll be (at least somewhat) shorter if it's raining. Can't hope for too much - it IS Thanksgiving week - but any little bit counts! (Plus this gives me a perfectly valid excuse NOT to go on Grizzly!)
We'll be heading over there tonight when I get off work, then be there tomorrow before/after the banquet at the hotel, and probably Friday as well.
Don't worry, I am over it because I know that I'll never catch a cold or any other illness from the rain. Nor will rain make any illness worse. Sure, I might feel worse just because I'm out in the cold, wet weather. But that's about it.
I LOVE Disneyland in the rain. It's fantastic and the crowds are low. And it gets rid of a lot of the locals, which can be nice (says the former local, haha!)
we went the last week of march 2006 and it downpoured the entire time we were there. It was awesome! it really cleared out the people! LOL The only thing they shut down was splash mountain when the rain got realllllly bad. The rest of the rides we were able to walk on with no wait at all.
