When is your Spring Break?

Here in Sacramento the public schools always take the week before Easter...and the Catholic schools always take the week after.
One school district also takes the week of Presidents Day off in February ......the combine the president's day holiday, with Lincoln's birthday, with Columbus day (yes, Columbus Day or what was Columbus Day but isn't politically correct anymore so they moved it to a day off in February ) with 2 teacher prep days.

My sons spring break is Feb. 26th through March 5th. It is early. He is in college in Milwaukee,WI.

On Long Island in NY, Spring Break is April 25- April 29, 2005

Atlanta Public Schools is April 4-8, and that week will be spent on the Magic this coming year.

Our Spring Break is March 28- April 1 in '05 and we will be on The Magic!

I agree that the rates are high, but after our last trip to WDW in late August (HOT, HOT, HOT), we agreed that our next trip south would be in Spring or Fall. We've cruised in the Spring before and the weather was just perfect. We are hoping for a repeat this cruise.

We're here in North Jersey, and ours is April 11 - 15. DD is staying with grandma while we go on a free HAL cruise.

For year round system anyway. We have 3 differn't systems.

wouldn't you know...my son has spring break from 3/14 to 3/18, but mine from college is 3/21 to 3/25...It has been this way for the last two years. Only one more year, and then I won't have to worry about coordinating!

Break here straddles Easter - some systems take the week before off (3/21 - 3/25) and others take the week after off. We'll be on the 3/19 Eastern, and yes the rates are outrageous. I don't see us rebooking any time soon.

Central Florida has spring vacation during the week following Easter...

Most schools in the New Orleans, La. area have off Good Friday and the week following Easter Sunday. One of the most expensive times to see WDW or take a cruise. That's why I'm planning to sail in Feb. 06, during our Mardi Gras vacation because not too many other areas have this holiday, as long as it's not President's week for the rest of the country.
