I voted April 6-10 but its actually starts April 3- go back to school April13 (good friday and following whole week.)

Me too.

My husband said absolutely no to taking the kids out of school any more. Their grades suffer and my daughter will be a senior this year. She went with her drill team last year at spring break and said she didn't think it was too bad. My wonderful sister who has DVC has asked us to go that week for her last trip before college.
But, I hope with planning we can make it a great trip! Our kids are older, so we are thinking we will stay up late every night instead of rope drops.

I am thinking of going Sb next year but we are still waiting for our calendar...it should be 3/9-3/13 or 3/16-20. Part of me hopes the first week b/c everything indicates that will be slower, but the second week includes DS's 9th birthday....

NYC public schools, Catholic schools, Yeshiva's and I sure most if not all of Long Island will be out April 3-12.


We're trying to decide if we want to do the Quantum of the Seas out of NJ or WDW. The ship looks great, but not the ports suck.

Thanks for starting this! I'm seriously considering April 18-25 for next year and hoping that since Easter is April 5, most of the Spring Break crowds will be gone by the time I go.

Just an FYI, the districts up here that have a week off in February consider that winter break, they still have a spring break usually the week starting the Monday after Easter. It depends though since Easter was late this year they had it the week before. Just wanted to let you know since it may effect your poll if you are looking for a good week to travel to WDW.

I missed the February dates. NYC public schools are closed the week of February 16 for mid winter recess.

I figured there would be quite a few people who will have one of those weeks in February and one of those weeks in April off. We aren't lucky enough to get the winter break, just the spring one but many of my friends and family's kids upstate have both off.

Our April spring vacation is 18-26th we go back to school mon the 27th. But we also get a winter break in feb for a week.... one of the weeks you had posted but I didnt click on it to vote because its not our spring break.

Yikes! Our spring break is winning the poll right now. Henrico County schools and all Catholic schools in Richmond Va are off Saturday April 4th through Sunday April 12th.

While I would usually avoid WDW like the plague during spring break, I will be there in 2015. DD has a school trip with her softball team. I have been the 3rd week in July, the 1st week in December and the 1st week in June. I think this next trip will take the cake. Rope drop - mid day break - back to park until closing. That's my plan!

Schools are also closed Feb. 16 - 20 but there is no way that could be called SPRING break!
