When is WL going through refurbishment?

I thought I read somewhere where they were starting a refurbishment this summer. I have friends who are wanting to stay there in Oct. Should I try and talk them into another resort? They would be dissapointed if the pool is closed and major portions of the resort of walled off.

It's supposed to start in April this year and take about a year. It is floor by floor.
