When is the right time to think about renting points.

Hi,
I'm thinking about renting points for June 2004 probably wanting a ressie during the 3rd week in June, and I'll probably need a two bedroom at OKW. When would be a good time to start searching for point rental? Does the 11 month window apply here? How many points will I need for a 2 bedroom at OKW.

hi: you'll probably want to post this on the rent/trade portion of this site. if you are very sure of your dates, then the 11 month mark would assure you of a place to stay. as far as how many points you'd need, here's a link to the point calculator. http://www.wdwinfo.com/resort/dvcpoint.cfm you'll have to decide what size unit you'd like to rent.

I'd start looking for someone you're comfortable with now then when the time comes make the reservation at 11 months out. Most people who rent their points will hold them for a small deposit, say 10%. Or you could just make contact then get back together in late July and if the points are still available and make the arrangements then.
