When Is The Best Time To Go Disney World ?

I have done February, March, April and May. All have been great months. With February pre-Presidents Day being the least crowded.

We will be going December 11-18 this year, I expect low crowds from all I've read. In 2005 we are planning on October, also expect low attendance too.

I have never been during the summer, May was hot enough for me (90's) less humid. I do not function well in the H H H weather so I avoid June-September.

We'll never go at any other time. Weather is usually cooperative. Very little rain at all. Can get cold snaps but all the rides are walk-ons and we have been able to swim at that time also. Hoodies and shorts are our staple wardrobe at that time. Usually starts out a little cool and by late morning, we are stripping off the hoodie. Wonderful!

Went the first week in Feb 2003. It was great. Lines were short and there weren't really any crowds. We even did MK on Monday and it wasn't until later in the afternoon that it started to get crowded, but not enough to make us want to leave. We had great weather too. Going the first week in Dec this year and hope that the crowds aren't too bad.:wave2:

I'm glad to hear this. DW & I have ressies for Feb. 5-9. We've only been in March & June.

Christmas week is the worst week of the year if you are looking for short lines, but early December the resorts will be decorated for the season already...with fewer crowds

We were there for the week after Labor Day in 2001 and it was GREAT! yes, it was humid and rained, but so much at the World is airconditioned...and the rain was refreshing when we were outside. it usually rained each afternoon at about 3 or 4...by the we were usually headed back for a rest at our room in POR, before heading out for the evening again.

there were no lines at all..we walked right on to every attraction, we wanted to..riding them all many times.

its a tough call with the hurricanes, but as far as small crowds, thats the time to go
