When is FastPass+ Magic Bands going live

Anyone have any intel on this? Staying at BLT in Mid November and would like to try both.

There is no official release date, lots of rumors. I do know they will not rush this. The testing is being heavily reviewed and any tweaks will be made and possible tested again before full release.

thanks Sammie. I have a feeling November will be a non testing time for Disney to look at the testing to that point. If so at least we go every year and will be able to look forward to trying FastPass+ and Magic bands in the fall of 2014.

There is another school of though... They had limited testing during July and August.. added resorts for September... added more for October... and now no word on November...

so we are hoping we will see another back added or all added. Of course resort guests isn't the only cat to herd. You've got Passholders, Split stay issues, youth and convention tickets.... we can still hope. I am going in December with my AP to watch my daughter sing with her High School Chorus at the Candlelight Processional... she will be on some sort of program ticket.

Up until today it was a no go, but I logged on to my DH's account and he has the option to choosing FP+. However, it seems only for himself and no one else in the party because we can't get our Green PAP linked to the MDE account. So anyone out there staying at BWV who previously couldn't choose FP+ might want to take another look. I guess if I can't get my Green PAP linked, this is of no use to us. I've got everyone's accounts linked together and all my family are on, but says no valid admission next to them. My DH is the only one that has a linked admission (his new voucher).

I was at WDW this labor day week and was so annoyed that many rides didnt have fast past but testing the fast past +. If that's the case, then at least give that privilege to all DVC members.

All resorts are now added to the system. Guests with stays beginning before 11/1 can now make FP+ selections and customize MBs. Guests with stays beginning 11/1 or later should be given access once October is fully loaded.

But how do we do this if our PAP's aren't able to be linked?

I just linked our four PAPs this morning. They are activated ones(activated this past June.)

Our PAPs were linked with no problem. DS has a PAP voucher and I was able to link that as well. The vouchers have to be linked with a smartphone so you can use the "Scan In" feature, but they can be linked.

I can't just fill in the numbers on the MDE? I did it once about 2 months ago, but they no longer show up on there.

I haven't been paying close attention to the Fast Pass dates. We're going Nov 3 and will stay at SSR. I guess I'll just keeping checking MDE. There will be a new option if we're eligible for FP and Magic Bands?

We were able to put in our PAP numbers from the plastic cards activated in May, but I don't see a FP or MB option.

From your ticker it looks like you check in in November. Those with November check in dates cannot customize Magic Bands or make FP+ selections yet. Disney is still loading October check ins and the newly added resorts. Those of us with November check in dates should hear something once that is done. Just keep checking your MDE account.

I had trouble yesterday with my daughter's PAP voucher and linking. I called the number provided on the page and the CM helped me get it all straightened out. It took a bit, which I thought might happpen so I just let her know I was a very patient person and understood this may take a few minutes to complete. In about 15 minutes everything was all fixed and I could do my fast pass plusses for everyone with no issue.
