When is everyone going to DisneyWorld?

Feb 9 - 17. First night at Pop, then offsite to Regal Palms. DD 6th birthday is Feb 11, so we have the Princess breakfast booked at Akerhaus that morning. Hoping for good weather!

Unfortunately, our convention was changed from NYC to WDW

We'll be there from June 28 - July 12/08

Sep 27-Oct 10 POR a grand gathering of 15 people (gulp!)

I believe there is at least a couple of other DISers at AKV at the same time. Maybe a mini mixer at Victoria falls or the lobby would be nice.

We also arrive late on the 8th and are there until the 17th. I know there is at least one other family from Ont on this board that will be there the same week in concierge. I suspect there will be more.

We're calling this the "Double Dip Disney Trip".

Hello Everyone! I am new to the board, wish I had found it earlier when I was planning, I would have loved to have been able to get to know some of you prior to our trip! but I have still enjoyed reading much info. Anyway, our family is so excited tonight, tomorrow, Jan 13th at 6pm... less than 24 more hours, we are heading to the airport to pick up my DH who is coming home on his leave from Afghanistan. He has been on tour there for 5 1/2 months so far, and we are so excited to finally have him home for a visit!! We have a magical trip to WDW planned for Jan 15-24, staying at AKL. We are so excited, can't believe we fly in 3 days!! YIPEE. I am sad we will only have a short time with my husband before he heads back Feb 01, but we will all cherish the time we have together and our vacation as a family! We have 2 boys age 15 and 11, so this trip will be a blast for all of us.... perfect age to share everything and remember eveything Disney has to offer!!! Thanks for letting me share!

Welcome How exciting for you and your family! You will certainly have a blast and make many happy family memories Is this your first trip to disney? We made a once in a lifetime trip in 2000, wonderful family memories BUT we found it to be addictive AKL is wonderful, you will love it there.
