When is everyone going to DisneyWorld?

I'm hoping to go the first weekend in May for the Minnie 15K - maybe May 2-7. I have to do a little more reading about the race before I make up my mind.

Hoping for mid Oct for 9-10 nights. When is the martial arts festival? Does anyone have any info on food and wine festival dates? We will be staying at AKL thanks to a fellow disboards member and their DVC points.

Hey Digs sounds like we will be there around the same time as you next Oct we are staying in the wifes trailer at FW (blah). But atleast we are still going down the kids have no idea we are going so it should be good. The wife is then taking them the following July so they can all do the Sea World day camps it is from 9-5 Mon-Friday all snacks and lunches are provided it is only 329 bucks a kid they are all very excited about that one.

I am in the process of working out a pre-Back to School Trip....late August, probably about 10 days.

We were thinking of going around this time as well but we have never traveled to WDW at this time of year. Just curious...have you been to WDW in late August before? I'd appreciate any input!

I will be there April 3-10 (well - AKL April 3-6, DCL April 6-10).

I am originally a bluenoser, now living in Ontario.

Can't wait for the trip! I am way more excited than my kids! It was a Christmas gift to them, but I only told them we were going to WDW - I didn't tell them about the cruise part! Trying to keep the magic alive, but I don't know if I can keep the secret that long!
