when is deposit taken out of account?

just reserved my royal pacific room for 1 night. They said would be taken off CC right away. I checked my account and still not withdrawn . Can anyone tell me how long it took Universal to charge there card after reserving? I just want to make sure everything is pre paid and not have any surprises when I get there.

I just reserved Aventura and it took about 3 days before the deposit was charged to my credit card.

Booked on the Saturday, deposit showed up on my credit card on the Monday

I just cancelled and rebooked a few days ago, and the credit and new charge both showed up within a few days. I have had it take up to 2 weeks for a charge to come through. if you have a confirmation i think it should show the deposit paid.
