When is best time to call Disney Dining?

I know it's busy season, but I feel like I've been on hold forever. I usually like Disney music, but now it's just grating!

Is there a better number to call than the one on the website? Is there a better time?

I don't know if it is the right number but I just called 714 781-3463. I asked to be connected to Disney Dining. I got put on hold for about a minute and a half (after the announcement about high call volume!) and was done with my reservation in about 3 minutes. I couldn't believe it. I don't know if I got lucky but it was a breeze.

I called once and, no exaggeration, was on hold for 18 minutes. I finally hung up because I had to go to the bathroom. When I called back maybe 3 minutes later, I was almost immediately put through.

Did you press 4 or go to guest relations then ask for dining?

ETA - Nevermind I got through finally. I just used the speakerphone! It took 20 minutes total including making the reservation

I called 60 days out to make a PS for WOC at AG in Aug. I called around 10am and go the 5pm seating. I don't remember what number I pushed but there was something in the menu that directly connects you with dining. I didn't talk to anyone and ask to be connected. I had a wait of about 3 min before someone came on to take my PSs.

I tried ringing at the weekend - I waited around 15 minutes and finally gave up - no fun if your making an International call.

I tried last night around 6pm and waited about 5 minutes. I think earlier in the day may not be as busy.

I called last night around 6:30 PM pacific and I just stayed on the line until someone answered, I didn't press any buttons. Someone answered in about a minute.

Just a side note, with most phone trees you can just push "0" and get someone to speak to right away without having to go through a zillion number choices.
