Hi,
Just curious as to when all decorations are up at the parks and resorts?

Thanks in advance

The parks are mostly decorated after about the 4th or 5th of November. The resorts will start to be decorated within the next two weeks. The Osborne lights start on the 6th I think. Epcot's decorations will be a little later since holidays around the world starts later. Also, the Christmas tree at MK I don't think will be up until after the taping of the parade.

As far as I know, the only park that's decorated that early is MK, since the first MVMCP takes place about a week after Halloween. I can't recall if Epcot does a lot of decorating (although I haven't been to WDW in December since 2007, so my memory may be hazy), but the Holiday Storytellers and the Candlelight Processional don't start until after Thanksgiving. You are correct about the tree at MK not going up until after the Christmas parade taping, which is the first weekend in December.

I have been going usually for either thanksgiving or Christmas for the last 10 years and I don't know the exact timeframe, I know MK and the Osborne lights will be the first up around the 6th of November. I don't know when the first MVMCP is, but that would be a good indication of the decorations for MK. I'm pretty sure the rest of the decorations are up by the middle of the month. When I have been there before thanksgiving, Epcot has been fully decorated already.

We usually stay for 9 days starting after the 15th of November, which is usually the week before Thanksgiving. The MK is fully decorated, and the tree at the Studios and I think AK will be up when we arrive. In the past the Epcot tree has gone up by the Saturday right after Food and Wine ends. the resorts usually switch over during the week we are there. We wake up, and all of a sudden it is Christmas at the Beach Club! The GF usually has the gingerbread house up and running that week too. I would say that when we leave, which is usually the Sunday before Thanksgiving, the parks and resorts are 95% complete.

Our holiday ends on the 22 nov 2016 and we are staying at GF I am really looking forward to seeing the gingerbread house as I have been told that will be up but I have my fingers crossed to see the rest of the decs in the GF! :santa: We have seen the park decorations before but I have never seen GF.
