what time do resort guests arrive for early admission? IOA opening @ 8am starting June 24th. Curious.

Resort guests get in 1 hour early. So you would be let in a 7 am. :thumbsup2

Resort guests get early entry at 7am , but they generally start letting people in 15-20 mins before that.I would get to the park no later than 0630 if it were me

Quick question, kind of a spin off from OP.

We are staying at RPR - at that time in the morning, is there transportation to the park or should we walk?

And if walking, how long should I budget for that to be there around 6:30ish?

Thanks!!

Transportation starts in time for early entry, but we always walked since it was faster. The boat sits at the launch for a few mins to load guests before it departs and then it is another few mins till it drops off, loads and comes back. From RPR it is a short walk

Assume I get to Forbidden Journey at 7am on the dot, how long is the wait? On the flip side, if I forego the early entry, how bad would the line be if I waited til 4pm or so to ride it?

In the morning you will get right onto the ride - however walking through the castle is kind of part of the ride. There are so many things to see while you are standing in line.

Honestly if it is your first time there - hit Olivanders wand shop first, then you can go onto FJ ride - the castle is nice and cool inside. When it first opened, we did early entry and did the FJ ride and other rides. The next morning we hit up Olivanders first thing, then did other rides in the area.

at 4pm it will be hit or miss depending on day and date. Last weekend around 2pm on Sunday there was a 10min wait for FJ

depending on the pace you walk, it could take between 6-8 minutes.
