We are planning on going in Nov. we normally go in Sep and love that it's not crowded.. So when is the best time to go in Nov without the crowds?? :)

Sorry, I had replied but I guess I didn't hit send! We love going in November. But we usually go the Thursday before Thanksgiving to the Tuesday before T'giving. We've done it the past 3 years now! All of the overlay rides are up, and the parades are up. Thursday and Fiday are not crowded. Saturday and Sunday are more corwded but with Fps and MMs we have no problem. Monday and Tuesday get alot more crowded but with planning we still never wait long.
All of the decorations are up and Santa is there. We love going this time of year!

NicksMommy - if I recall correctly, you and your son made a sort of spur of the moment DLR trip in November last year - just before the official start of the DLR holiday season, I think - and ever since then, I had wondered how that trip went. I don't think you have posted since then! I know the trip right before that one was not as good (and there was that jerk who broke the Buzz Lightyear cup/toy when he banged into your son), so I was hoping that the November trip went much better. But was it super crowded? Based on the subject of this thread, I am inclined to think you guys maybe encountered some large crowds? The thing is, is it important to you to see the full DLR holiday splendor (which will begin on November 20 this year, I think) or deal with fewer people? Even though there are some holiday decorations going up slowly around DLR all through November, it doesn't kick into full swing with the Winter Castle and the light show and everything until the official start. So I would say that any time between the very end of Halloweentime (November 1) and a couple of days before the official beginning of the Christmastime season (November 20) would be less crowded.

yes Sherry it was crazy crowded!!! But it was only us so not really a problem... we are planning another trip with the whole family this time! I just want to go when it's not insane again!!

When I went in early November (during the first week) last year there were hardly any crowds at all. I walked onto many rides and the longest I ever waited was thirty minutes.
