When I get to Disney, the 1st thing I'm going to eat/drink is........

Barq's Root Beer! First stop after check-in: refillable mugs and foodcourt for my fix! It is a childhood favorite and you can't get it here! :)

either a ice tea or a mr pibb! depending on which i spot first :D as for food a disney burger mmmm i think would be my no1 choice and then dinner in whispering canyon that night :D

I have been to MK and Epcot twice and always stayed with friends or family in the area. But this time my daughter and I are staying on property.

It is a long drive from the Dallas - Ft Worth area. We should arrive early afternoon. My plans are to go to MK and get a dole whip. I have never had one but the pics look great.

We usually get in around 7:00 PM. We always grab a bite to eat in the food court, I always get the Barbecue chicken dinner. My first treat every trip is a pineapple dole whip from MK (we also love the Mickey Ice Cream Sandwiches too). Our first sit down meal is always at the Sci Fi Theater. It is what starts our vacation out. 4 1/2 months to go....can't wait!:cool1:

thanks to reading about them on these forums...

... a dole whip!

Check in to BC, then going over to DHS and lunch @ Scifi for shakes and burgers.

Dole Whip for DH
Big Preztel for me. I know I could get them anywhere but I only eat them in Disney:)

Whoa! Jalapeño Margarita??? this has to be new. :confused3 i haven't seen this one! lol

Is this inside the Mexico Pavillion or outside? That will def be a MUST do on my list when we go there.

but, the first thing i want to get is a DOLE WHIP FLOAT! :goodvibes

ohhhh, and a cream cheese pretzel from the lunching pad in tomorrowland!

About a year old. Inside the new tequila bar...to the right of the restaurant

As we arrive at 4:30 PM this time and we have 8:45 PM ressies for le Cellier, it will be a Moosehead ale, for sure!;)

Well now let's see...I am upgrading just my ticket to an AP (so we can get the TIW card, the math worked out much better than the DDP for us)...and since we got our tickets from Undercover Tourist last August (discount tickets), I have to enter a park in order to only pay the difference between the current Disney ticket price and the AP price for DVC members. So, since we're going to be staying at BWV and checking in there (but I assume my room won't be ready until 4, whereas we will probably arrive some time before noon), the closest park is the Epcot Int'l Gateway...so I'm thinking I should walk over to the patisserie in France and grab a pastry! What better way to begin a Disney vacation?

Right now we are planning lunch at Earl of Sandwich for arrival day...but we'll be with 10 people total, so we'll see. Bot my sister and I discussed it and it looks like that's the place it will be, and my parents don't really care where we go, so we're leading the way. Never went to Earl before, but I read the menu on All Ears and the caprese looks fantastic!!

So it will either be a french pastry or a sandwich from Earl!! :thumbsup2

The first park we hit is usually MK so we always have to start the vacation with a chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich! We talk about them all year!

I always say I'm going to find where they are sold and get one, then we leave without trying them.

This year it's a MUST!!!

Usually, a Mickey bar...but after trying one of those Butterfinger cupcakes at Starring Rolls, I think I may need to change my answer!
