Hi, I'm going to DLP mid April. Staying at the Dream Castle. The Eurostar is due in at 12:27.
What do you do first?
I was thinking of making my way to the hotel and having a long lunch (can't check in til 3pm). Then at 3pm, check in, and then hit the park(s). Hopefully we would be in the park by 4pm.
I booked via Eurostar (eurostar & hotel), so not sure if they offer the 'express' service, not even sure if it's available at the Dream Castle - I should phone Eurostar and ask.
Or is there somewhere (large lockers) in the parks, to keep suitcases until we are done in the park and then go to the hotel to check in.
Thank you
Tracy

Welcome

Personally i like to go to the hotel off load the bags, nose around, check in, get park tickets ect and then make our way over to the parks. We found that our room was ready when we got there at 1am from the eurostar. You can check in before 3pm but it is pot luck as to whether your rooms is ready, if it isnt then it just means you have to come back to get you room key and number after 3pm and you just leave to bags in the hotel bag storage place- i believe it would be the same for the dream castle.
I think you can add the express service for dream castle as it is a selected hotel but i also believe there is lockers at the eurostar station and park but i'm sure someone else will be able to help with more info on this.

Thank you tigger300686.

I like your idea of having a nose around the hotel first. I also like the idea of having a long lunch !!! The only thing with the 'Dream Castle' is it's 'a la carte' for lunch and thought of something a little less fussy for lunch after travelling since 5am.
So as suggested I think we will go to the hotel, off load, and then make our way to the park and then when we are done, go back and check in (if we can't do it earlier).

We thought we would eat in the hotel on the first night and I was going to call and reserve a table at the 'Steakhouse' for the 2nd night. I fancied the 'wild west' show, but the price and my daughter has asthma, has put us off.

I think we have chosen to go to the studios on our first day, as husband want to go on the Tower of Terror thing.....and daughter wants to see HSM (scheduled to be on when we are there)
