When does your winter break start this yr??

Just trying to get an idea when everyone's winter break starts this year. Here (Broward County) in South FL our schools begin break on 12/24 which is a Monday. I suppose in some areas the break may start the week before?? When does your child's (school) winter break begin?

I posted the 21st. Technically it is the 24th. But I consider that people could be travelling on the 21st.

Yes, that is the case in our area as well. A few years ago when Christmas fell on a Sunday, we went to WDW on Thurs. the 15th and by that Saturday, the 17th (a whole wk before Christmas) it was packed already.

This is almost similar because I was thinking of going the weekend of the 17th again but don't want to run into the same massive crowds hoping that most will be traveling that weekend before Christmas unless they have off that week before. I think many of the schools won't start their breaks until the middle to the end of that week before, but not sure so just polling it to see.
