When does your child's school get out for summer?

June 6th then 2 days later we are heading for WDW

DS is supposed to get out May 24th, and we're leaving that night for WDW. With the snow and ice we're supposed to get this week, they may use up the last of their snow days, so we'll have to see what happens. He's only in kindergarten, so I'll probably take him out if they add another day or two on to the end of the year and don't move his graduation.

Most schools in Maine are in school until the middle of June. We are suppose to get out on June 13th, but it looks like a snow storm is coming on Wednesday and that will push it to the 14th.

We missed 8 days of school before the holidays due to flooding, snow and a huge wind storm, so we are currently at June 28th for our last day of school, but they still need to find 4 more days to make-up somewhere...

It was scheduled for May 24th, but because of the snow and ice the last day is now set for May 29th and is pretty much the same for all of the Kansas City area. We leave for WDW May 31st, so I hope they won't have too many more days to make up, but we're getting more sleet and snow as I type!

We are in Alberta, Canada and I am so jealous of all you people getting out in May and early June. If we have any snow days we don't make them up, as we go so late already. We will go back September 4. If get out at the end of May, when do you go back??

Where I am at in IL we get out May 25th and go back August 21st. I know other schools get out mid June. I am going to pull my son out about a week early next year to go to Disney.

We get out June 1st here in central Ohio. However we are already over 2 snow days and it looks like we will be out tomorrow too. Hope they cut days from spring break because we are leaving for Disney on June 2nd!

I hear that!. DS's last day was supposed to be June 1. We leave for WDW May 30. No big deal DS's teacher told us. She said everything will be complete by the week before so they will just watch videoes and do fun stuff the last week, so DS wasn't going to miss anything.

Now they have had counting today 3 snow days. I hope they cut into spring break and maybe take Presidents Day. I looked into changing our trip to later in June and it will make the cost significantly higher since we are doing DCL too. Of course not a snow day for 2 years we plan this trip and look what happens, just our luck.
