I have friends going Jan 1-6. Will they still be all decked out down there?

Thanks!

Yes, they should be able to see all of the decorations when they first get there. The decorations may start to come down toward the end of their stay, but it will definitely feel Christmas-y.

We have been there during that time period often. It is kind of fun to see the parks change over the 10-12 days we are there. The big shock is when they take down the mainstreet decorations. Epcot seems to take down most things earlier than the other parks.

The year we stayed at WDW from Jan. 1 through Jan. 9, the decorations at WL came down during the wee hours of Jan. 2. I stayed up to watch the crew take the tree down, it was really neat.

Thank you one and all!!:D

We went in Jan. about 6 years ago, and all the decorations were down when we got there on the 10th. I was hoping to catch a few glimpse, but there was absolutely nothing. Good luck !!!

Everything will still all be decked out on your friends' arrival day. But they'll start taking things down after the 1st and it doesn't take them long to get it all down. There will be less and less each day they are there. The Osborne Lights are on display through the first weekend in January so be sure to tell them not to miss that!
