When does WDW announce 2017 packages

What time of the year does WDW typically announce the resort packages for the following year. I'm looking to plan a trip for late May / early June of 2017. I don't care whether it's a free dining package or discounted room rate and my vacation dates aren't necessarily set in stone. I'd just like to do something other than their standard room rates if at all possible.

2017 packages are currently bookable. Discounts for that time of year won't be announced until early next year.

The fact that they're already offering a free dining bounce back right now through next December shows they're being really aggressive with discounts now. So I'd be willing to bet discounts for May/June might come out before the end of the year or right away in January. Disney is really hurting to fill rooms right now due to an international (primarily Brazilian) cool down.

With all due respect, they've been offering FD bouncebacks that run through the end of the next year at this time for the past several years. The big difference this year is the way they've broken the FD up. Also, and I haven't taken the time to count the days, but it seems like the number of total days for the FD bounceback is quite a bit less than it has been in the past.

Actually, they didn't include December in last years FD BB. And this years BB includes two more weeks of the offer in comparison to last year.

The discussion about BBs is moot for the OP.

As a PP already said, 2017 vacation packages have been available for quite some time. But DISCOUNTS other than BBs won't be announced for months yet.
