I have been reading up on this for our next trip. Does your credits end the morning you checkout or are they still good for that day. So if you stay 4 nights can you actually have 5 days in which to use your credits. :confused3

Your credits end midnight of the day you check out. The number of credits are based on the number of nights you stay..so if you book for 4 nights you get 4 table service credits 4 counter service credit and 4 snack credits per person.

I was wondering this too. So if we check out on June 5, our credits actually expire at 12:00AM on June 5 and that last day (we don't fly out until 6pm) we don't get dining? Even if we save enough credits?

No if you're checking out on the 5th they don't expire until midnight on the 6th. So if you're there all day (until 6pm) on the 5th you still get to use them. :thumbsup2 I double checked this with my travel agent (Who is VERY knowledgable on such things). It used to be they expired when you checked out but I think now they relize some people don't leave right away so you have until midnight on the 6th. So you should be fine.

if you check out the morning of June 5th, your credits expire at 11:59pm on June 5th. so you will have the rest of the day to use them up.

Just a head's up though - even though they are good until midnight of your check-out day, you might have problems with it past probably 3 PM or so. It will say 'no credits' but they have to call the hotel to confirm, etc...

We were on the Premium plan did a "room only, package, room only" combination and at our dinner on our check-out of package day they had to get the manager involved who had to call the hotel, etc... and it caused problems but they did find that even though the card comes through with 0 credits, that yes we did have credits. Also caused a problem at the food court about 10 - 11 PM as I knew we had a couple more credits and I was going to use them by golly (poor people in line behind me!).

It worked out OK but just be aware of it and if you are doing a sit-down or even counter service maybe you can give them a heads-up so they can get the manager ahead of time and have less of a delay. :)

Thanks for the replies! I was worried about how the last day would work, I'm glad to know we'll still have time to use our credits!

Becky, the problem you had was due to the way the premuim plan is set up, and those on the regular dining plan will not have that problem. You don't get pooled credits on the premium plan, so there is actually a formula to figure out what meals you are entitled to on travel days. The regular dining plan, on the other hand, has pooled credits that are available up until midnight. Consequently, no one on the regular dining plan will have the issue that you had after 3pm on check out day.

OK, that's great! I just know I also read about people on the dining plan having the same problem when it first came out, so they must have worked the kinks out.
