When does the Check-in desk for Virgin open @ Manchester? - on-lines not working!!

Could anyone tell me what time the Virgin check-in desk opens at Manchester airport in the morning?

Hi i do not know what time it opens but if you are flying tomorrow you can check in on line at the Virgin website it is easy to do you will need your booking reference plus each persons passport then in the morning just go to the DIY check in desk and hand in your bags we did when we went in May it was so quick the check in queue was very long and we just walked right up to the bag drop give it a try

We're not actually going until next thursday, I don't think we'll be using the online check-in this time, which is why I was wondering what time the check-in opens.

No - there's 5 adults, and 2 children, aged 5 and 12 going.

An update!

After reading comments saying how fantastic online check-in is, we decided to give it a go!

And now I feel a bit let down by Virgin

We've just typed in all our details, and guess what - it doesn't recognise our booking

What's even more annoying is that we can go into the update booking page, and it recognises our booking there, and there's a check-in button to click, we click on that, and, yep, it comes up with a message saying it can't find the booking!

I spoke to someone from Virgin Atlantic, and he wasn't much use, he suggested trying again later, or checking in at the airport - like we have a choice!

Argghhhh! Just had to get it off my chest

At least we should get to the airport by 6.30 tomorrow morning, so hopefully there won't be too much of a queue!

Oh No, sorry to hear that you couldnt use online checkin..I dont think we will be able to use it either We cant get into the manage your flight bit now, which annoys me, after numerous calls to Virgin we have give up.
We should get to the airport around 6:30am too in December..after we drop the car off.

Well, we got there at 6.30AM, and the queue wasn't too bad at all, there were only 1 or 2 families in front of us, so I think you should be fine!

We have never had any problems getting around 06:30 - the only difficulty is we get up about 04:30 in the morning.

Just makes it a long day - not so bad next year though as we are staying the first night at the Hyatt airport hotel at MCO.
So should be more relaxed when we arrive, no need to rush about like we usually do.
