When Does the Celebration End?

I need to move my trip to WDW from December to January, but now I'm worried that the celebration will be over at the end of this year. Can anyone tell me when this celebration ends? What about the MYW plan?

I believe it is an 18 month celebration which would mean Disney will be celebrating the 50th anniverasry until next Fall.

Disney celebrations always last a long time, typically 15-18 months. As the above poster said, this one is 18 months. And hey, Expedition EVEREST might even be open by the time you get there.

Magic Your Way is the new standard form of ticketing. Like the Park Hopper program was for many years. So unless they find they are making far less money, expect it to be with us for quite awhile. If you mean the MYW dining plan, I've heard a handful people have had problems with it. Mainly because the CMs aren't familiar with it yet, but also because it lacks significant value. But I would expect it will continue for awhile (though hopefully with some changes made.)

Oh, and January will have much smaller crowds than December. I hope you have a great vacation!

My travel agent is telling me that she can't move the package from December to January until August when the 2006 rates come out. Should I have her book a room only for the timeframe I want until the package rates come out for 2006 or should I be fine waiting until August to get the Movies?
