When does Target offer $10 off $50 in gift cards coupons??

I know that around Christmas time Target offers coupons for a $10 gift card with every $50 in gift cards bought. Do they do this any other time of year? I am ready to start buying gift cards for our upcoming trip and wondering what kind of discounts I can find. I have a Red Card but do not use pharmacy rewards because we have a mail order program with our insurance that give us the best cost for prescriptions. Any deals/options right now?

You don't have to use the pharmacy benefit to get pharmacy rewards. Even though you have a mail order program sign up anyway. When I signed up about 2 weeks later (before I had put in a prescription) I got a booklet with Target store coupons in it. One of those coupons was $5 off $50.

Plus, there's no time limit on getting the five scripts - DS' script is a weird one that I have to bounce from pharmacy to pharmacy to find one that has it in stock - it took me a over year to submit my 5 - so if ever you end up needing any "emergency" scripts such as antibiotics - things you can't wait for them to mail them to you - then you could accrue a 5% benefit.

I think they do it around Christmas. Be sure to sign up for the RX rewards. Even though your regular meds are through your mail order, you can use it when you need an antibiotic or other type of med that you will only fill once.

Target has the "Get a $10 Target Gift Card with every purchase of $50" coupon for two weekends every December. You do not have to buy $50 of gift cards, although most on this board buy $50 Disney entertainment cards.
