Twilight, but not full dark. It is dark by 5:15pm. Living here the winter's are much more bearable. Now, 6.5 years later, I am used to the later sunsets, I am now not too happy that it is much darker later in the mornings than in MA. I guess that's the trade off.I'm in NE WI and same here. The sun sets before 4:30 here in SE WI right now. Can't wait for the Winter solstice.
Michigan and Indiana are Eastern time zone.Ohio is the last state (westward) on Eastern time zone, so we have late surises and late sunsets . Its stillway to early now, but around the 4th, the sun isnt setting here until 9;30-10.00 at night
Michigan and Indiana are Eastern time zone.
( I actually didnt know about Michigan )I love going north during summer when it's still light at 9:30 at night.
I just did a little research about Polar Night, which occurs in the Arctic. 40% of Canada's landmass is considered "arctic" and it's sparsely populated but there are settlements. About 100,000 people live up there altogether. There are literally months at a time that the sun doesn't make it over the horizon. Their version of your statement would be: Full dark by November 16, full light by January 25.Fully dark by 5pm now. It full light about 715am.

Michigan and Indiana are Eastern time zone.
IN and MI are both eastern and central, depending on location within the states.Inidana is half and half, as for Michigan thy dont count cause we beat there butt in football all the time( I actually didnt know about Michigan )
