When does it become Elsa's Castle?

It sounds like it's temporary during the CRT refurb from Jan-March. Hopefully, Cinderella will get to move back into the castle after it's done.

I could see them saying something like due to the popular demand we are going to keep Cinderella at Citricos.

My bet is they have added the meal at Citricos due to complaints about CRT closing down. Maybe if it goes well they'll keep it and keep CRT

Sometimes I think people jump to conclusions, but I suspect there'd be an uproar heard 'round the World if Cinderella and her castle were pushed out of the way to make room for the new kids.
Give them anything you want, somewhere other than at Cinderella's castle. The character has been an established part of Disney for decades.
Seriously, don't mind this old Disney fan, but I get tired of the "newest" thing becoming the "greatest" thing. It isn't that way for everyone.

I thought they were going to bring out Cinderella and they were going to ask her if it would be alright if they iced over the castle...would've been nice to include her (since it is CINDERELLA Castle) AND have them get permission (which maybe would have been something kids could take away from it, kind of teach them to ask before doing something?) but that may just be me...

I saw a video on YouTube of the show and thought it was magical and cute, perfect for a holiday season. Just remember, it'll melt in that hot, Florida sun

I thought it would have been perfect for The Fairy Godmother to come out and ask Elsa to cover the castle in ice for the Holidays. I think Elsa adding ice to the castle is a brilliant idea (and I'm not at all a fan of the Frozen takeover) but Fairy Godmother should have been included too. And Cinderella could have also been there to greet her guests.

Elsa will never own cinderella's castle. this is just seasonal attraction. after the holidays the castle lighting will be over with for the year

I could see something like they want to put a very, very, $pecial Frozen character meal in there. They'll add a few extras like a pin or a lithograph or whatever and charge way more than even what CRT goes for now. More in the price point of that Princess Tea at the GF where you get a bunch of merchandise to justify the high price.

They could leave it as CRT for breakfast maybe so it's not a complete takeover, just sharing. Something like that. Kind of like the holiday lighting show right now...Cinderella and the gang didn't get kicked out, the Frozen crew is just "visiting."

I don't think they will ever full-out change the name to Elsa's Castle, but I could see them changing the name to something generic at some point. Fairytale Castle, Fantasyland Castle, etc.

Funny, when I called my local Disney store about Frozen stuff they said they should be getting a new shipment from Arendelle anytime now lol!

If Disney thought they could milk an extra nickel from people by doing this, you better believe they'd do it.

Look, if it became a Elsa's castle with a restaurant I'm guessing they could charge $149 per adult and $99 per child. If people are willing to spend $89 for that Frozen FP+/Osborne lights event at DHS (and they have bought it so much that Disney opened up another seating), then I doubt $149 is out of line. Imagine the money they could bring in. You might even be able to get a tie-in sponsorship with Dairy Queen or Baskin Robbins. Let us not forget that Disney is a business, so anything they can do to generate revenue and profits is a good thing.

Maybe they could give Cinderella those outside castle walls.

I'm sick of all the Frozen stuff. I don't care what they do right now. As long as the Cinderella is back where she belongs by Easter, I'm happy.

I will be over the moon if the powers that be decides to add Tiana to just one character meal by Easter. We're doing a big family trip next spring. (first trip for my youngest two nieces and nephews). They have no idea about the trip. They keep bugging me to talk their parents into taking them NOW.

I've asked them what they want to do when they get there and all my niece says is hang out with Tiana. She was so disappointed last year when her family went to see Disney on Ice and Tiana was not in the show.
