When does Halloween season begin 2008?

Hi all, even though we haven't gone on our next trip i'm trying to plan the one after it!!

I'm thinking first week of october, say the 5th and 6th, sunday and monday, but I don't want it to be Halloween season when we go as we're not into all that, do you think it would start that early in the month?

Anybody been early october before?

Im just looking at the Disney broucher now and it says Halloween season starts 3rd Oct/4th Oct.

we have been end of sept / beginning of October before and the decorations are up even then, we don't really do Halloween, but the decs are quite good fun though.
