When does a new resale buyer lose access to OKW?

Just wanted to confirm and figured someone here would know. If I buy a CCV resale contract, I would lose access to OKW after 2042 - is that correct? Even though there was this extension that some owners did through 2057, I am assuming that those that buy resale at a "legacy" property do not get access to OKW beyond 2042. Thoughts?

Why not save a bundle and buy a 2057 OKW contract? You can buy a direct for about the same as a CC resale.

no. OKW was extended under the old ground lease, so OKW cannot be excluded from resale access until 2057.

(That's part of why I don't think the other 2042 resorts will be extended.)

I don’t think that OKW drops out of “The Club” in 2042. Any part of the resort that is under ownership through 2057 remains available for members to book. The bigger question will be how hard will it become for resale owners to book a non-home resort after the L14 become the L9.

Got it. Super helpful. So post-2042, if I buy resale, I would still have access to 9 resorts, of which 7 are at WDW, correct?
