When does 2017 open up

when does 2017 open up for packages (is it at the same time as WDW normally?) if I call can I get rates For 2017...just not able
To add tickets to a package. And I can't just buy the tickets now as we think we are going to be there right after New Years but won't know until the end of the month. My nephew just heard he was selected out of only 80 kids in the US to March in the Rose Parade ( so trip to DL hopefully after)

I was wondering the same thing. I want to buy tickets for our trip that starts January 2nd, but website seems to suggest they have to be activated by 12/31 even if you have until jan 13th to use them. With ticket increase tomorrow this really sucks.
