When do you think the AP rates will be released for Jan & Feb?

What a tease, were we all super disappointed when we got an email today with the subject line of

Passholder:new fun, more savings, and holiday cheer!

I was so excited! I totally thought "yes this is it! woohooo" and then...nothing

lame... Oh well, I'm glad someone started this thread so I can check in and see when or if it's released!

Yeh, discounts through 12/25? Really? After releasing GP through most of next year, now they get stingy with AP discount releases? This really is insulting. If they come out with discounts for Jan./Feb., it better be pretty soon or I'll have to make my final deposit on my free dining ressie. I have 3 days at the beginning of my stay that don't fall into the dining promo and was hoping to put anything I have left over after AP discount applied to my almost paid of room only ressie. Guess I might have to get a refund when AP's come out and just pay of the other ressie seperate.

Yes, got the email yesterday as well. Why bother? they even advertised the Candlelight proc. and I thought maybe something for AP holders well not! Even TIW would have been something!

The hotel I wanted is booked already too - no more standard rooms for CSR Maybe they just really don't NEED more discounts to draw us in since we are a 'sure thing' vs discounts with pins & GP discounts doing so well?

Exactly I think WDW wants to sell the tickets! Now 2 day passes at least are required for the 'specials' Everything is working against the ap holder it seems. They think we will just come. I don't know if I will get an AP again even though in past years it was very useful. May just go every few years and get the special if out there. We leave in a week and the AP espires in Feb so time will tell.

They've lost a reservation here. I can't hold out any longer for the AP rates, so it looks like we will not be going. We could do the GP rate, but we really prefer having the dining plan, and we're not going to buy tickets just to get it. I was hoping to squeeze in one more trip before our APs expire the end of Jan. We won't be going back for at least another year now.

I am getting soooo frustrated with this! Checking several times a day to see if AP rates have come out. I'm with the previous poster-I dont want to buy tickets to get the "free dining" when my passes expire in Jan with no intentions of renewing. Why are the AP holders the last to get a discount? Shouldn't we be one of the first-certainly before the general public.

I called last night to get ressies for a 4- day trip in Jan. We are Fl residents and AP holders. No discounts for me at all, because I want to add dining and don't want to buy day tics. I couldn't believe it. There seem to be so many diiscounts out there, but I don't qualify for any The CM suggested I book a basic ressie at CBR and change it when the discounts come out. She said they should be here soon. I guess if they don't I will change over to a value and add dining.

I've had an AP since the early 1980's, and I have my email (which I've had for more than a decade) registered with Disney. I NEVER get any AP emails. I don't know if it's because I'm a local resident or not, but it would be nice to be informed about special events and stuff.

Passholder rates are out for January travel. Not sure of travel dates or codes - but definitely give a call this morning!

I know they're not valid for anyone checking in January 1 - like me!

I just saw that the AP release is on the AP website. I did some looking and could not believe that I could get WL standard view for MLK Sun and Mon. I think Monday night was only $145. Some of the values were as low as $56 a night on the week days.

I just called and changed my stay Jan 15-22 at POFQ from the winter rate of 30% off to the AP rate room only and saved $62. We haven't decided if we are going to do the dining plan or the TIW yet. What would you fellow disers do? It will just be me and DH this trip and we already have dining ressies for everynight. I know the dining plan would be an extra $645.72.
