or have you done that already?

We keep ours up untill Twelfth Night, Jan 5th, the house always looks so bare when they all come down.

We never decorate the house very early, usually 2 weeks before the 25th.

If my husband had his way, it would be the day after Christmas. I usually talk him into leaving it alone until New Years. This year he is out of the country. He just asked that I PLEASE get rid of it before he comes home on leave Jan. 18th. But only because he doesn't want to have to take it down. :lmao:

It will probably be tomorrow (28th).

Ugh! I love putting everything up Thanksgiving weekend, but I hate taking everything down and packing everything away. Will probably do that tomorrow but might wait until New Years Day.

Next weekend. I'd like to have the tree out of the house and packed away in the garage on the weekend, so that I can spread out and organize repacking the decorations. I want to properly label boxes. I go back to work on the 5th, so it'd be nice to be done by then. We'll see.

We always put them up on Thanksgiving weekend and take them down on New Year's Day. DH spends the day watching football. The boys play their new video games. I spend the day in the living room packing everything away for next year!

Next weekend. I always leave everything through New Years then the weekend following it all comes down. It went so fast this year

I got my live tree 2 days before thanksgving this year. It is CRISPY. I got all the ornaments off it today and packed up most of the christmast stuff except some stuff of my moms that goes in boxes. We will take the tree down to the curb in the morning.

No kidding!

We take our decorations down after New Year's, usually by the 5th.

We just leave ours up year round now and make sure to keep everything dusted. :thumbsup2

I like to do it all at once and since the tree can't go out until Garbage Eve, I wait until then.

If it is time to have the garbage festival the day after Christmas, that's when I do it. If I have to wait a week, I can do that, too.

Everything depends on the garbage men. :)

I wanted to take it down today, but I ran out of time....and energy.
Therefore, everything will be packed up tomorrow. We are having a "gathering" for New Years Eve and I want it down before that!
Every year I want to take it down the day after Christmas and DH calls me a scrooge! :confused3 I just want my house to be back to normal!

We usually keep ours up until Epiphany (January 6). This year, though, I start a job on January 5, so I'm putting things away on the 1st or 2nd.

Jan 6th is the last day for us. We take it down soon after.

12 days of Christmas!

We actually took all the outdoor lights down yesterday since the weather was decent. The tree came down tonight. I'll pack up the rest of the decorations tomorrow probably. We are early decorators but also early taker-downers ;) When it's over it's over and we want it all packed up and put away!

I am a person that cannot stand clutter and mess so my tree always comes down on New Year's Day or the weekend closest to it. So our tree will be down by Friday.

We also decorate and put up the tree 1-2 weekends before Christmas. I love having the house decorated but I cannot stand the clutter for any longer than that - lol

We put it up the day after Thanksgiving and it usually stays up until Epiphany. We have an artificial tree so we don't have to worry about the tree dying on us or anything, LOL.

It really seems like the holiday season just flew by this year. Usually I am ready to take down the tree when the time comes, but this year I think I'll be sad to. :(

I already started. The train set is put away, all the gifts are organized and put away.

The decorations are coming down today so the tree can go to the curb Monday night.

We only had the tree and decorations up for about 2 weeks.
